8 year old gorgeous chocolate gelding, 14.3 hands, tons of trail experience. Will go over, under, around and through anything on the trail, great on obstacles. Stands tied forever, loads, bathes, easy to catch, will knock all of your stuff in the dirt if it's within his reach, always in your face, will ride out alone and pastures alone. Mid to upper level in the herd, is a good babysitter for our weanlings. He is currently in Stamping Ground, KY (near Frankfort) for Certification and can be taken for a test drive at White Oak Stables.
Rocky Geldings of this combination of breeding, experience, color and age do not come available very often! I will get pictures and video up of him in the coming weeks. Come check this awesome guy out! Asking $6500

A sister to VBF's Storm Warning and granddaughter of both Buddy Roe and Nick -great old-time blood line! No white markings and at 15.2 hands she's a tall girl. She is a very seasoned mare, has been extensively ridden in OH, KY, TN and IN. Steady as rock, goes where you point and is unfazed by whatever the trail may bring. Has been on overnight trips, pickets, hobbles. Also an excellent mother - her 2013 foal is listed below. Perfect age and experienced mare - come take her for a test drive! Asking $4200
What a great find! This 14.3 hh, 8 year old mare is out of Blue Angel (see below) and by the fabulous Owen's Choctaw. LD is registered and certified to breed, well gaited, a proven broodmare and has miles & miles of trail riding under her hooves. Great on the trail - goes through & over anything you point her at, not spooky and moves with a sense of purpose - not too fast or too slow, this girl is just right!
This tall girl is the most mellow foal I've ever met - I was told Bucket O'Gold threw calm natured foals and she's the proof! Super friendly - we should've called her velcro for how she sticks with you! We've nicknamed her Sophie and she is a joy to be around!
DOB: 02/19/11 Registered Sire: Mr. Marcum Dam: Blue Angel RMHA#: 2011043800 $2000

Chocolate Brood Mare - SOLD!
DOB: 04/14/93 Double Registered and Certified Sire: Cricket's Little Buddy Dam: Katie RMHA#: 930127 $1500
This granddaughter of Buddy Roe is Double Registered Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain - she has been used as a brood mare only and is an outstanding mother - breeds easy and foals easy. A '93 model - she still has years of foaling ahead of her. (85% of her foals have been chocolate with only 2 being black!) to see some of her foals click here)
You couldn't ask for a more gentle mare with her people. She stands quietly on a loose lead for her shots and ultrasounds/palpitation or having her feet trimmed. She's quite comfortable having her people catch her foals as they are born & will stay down with you and the foal for the first hour while you imprint him. Very tolerant of groups of people and strangers handling her babies. Currently open. Click here for more pictures of her and her foals.
