I own several breedings, including mare care, to my choice of stallions standing at Horse Heaven Farm. I am offering one of those breedings for sale.  Horse Heaven Farm owns several very nice stallions of various pedigrees and colors (Smokey Cream, Silver Palomino, Black - red negative, and several Chocolate Stallions).  Stud fee of $450 plus free mare care & LFG is a value of $500+.  I am asking $400 to transfer one of these breedings to you.  There is no expiration date on the breeding - so it can be this year, next year or any future year with your choice of stallions standing at the time of breeding.  Check out these stallions at www.horseheavenfarm.com

Blue Angel

Chocolate Brood Mare - SOLD!

DOB: 04/14/93
Double Registered and Certified
Sire: Cricket's Little Buddy     Dam:  Katie
RMHA#: 930127
$1500

This granddaughter of Buddy Roe is Double Registered Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain - she has been used as a brood mare only and is an outstanding mother - breeds easy and foals easy.  A '93 model - she still has  years of foaling ahead of her. (85% of her foals have been chocolate with only 2 being black!) to see some of her foals click here)

You couldn't ask for a more gentle mare with her people. She stands quietly on a loose lead for her shots and ultrasounds/palpitation or having her feet trimmed.  She's quite comfortable having her people catch her foals as they are born & will stay down with you and the foal for the first hour while you imprint him.  Very tolerant of groups of people and strangers handling her babies.  Currently open.  Click here for more pictures of her and her foals.  Her 2012 foal - Hemingway - is shown at the bottom of this page.

"Rock" is a Choco Dock (& Nuncio!) grandson -  under saddle and doing great - we've had him on the trails in Clark State Forest and in Taylorsville Lake Park in Kentucky and he is a wonderful smooth ride and takes everything in stride.  Very laid back personality and easy to handle.   Wonderful conformation -check out that beautiful short rocky head!    This one is gone - Congrats to Nicki in PA! Nicki says of Rock - " a perfect gentleman.  I am so elated and pleased with him!"  After owning him a couple of months she says "You have trained this horse very well, he is not spooky, calm, and gentle....good on the trail. Goes anywhere!"  Thanks Nicki!  So glad you love him!
