Horse Boarding in Southern Indiana!

Picture
April 2014 - 30 Acres of new pasture sown
We offer Pasture Boarding, including run-in shelter, to a select few horses. We will ensure your horses have fresh water daily, plenty of green grass during the growing season and hayed daily during the winter.  We will also look your horses over regularly to ensure they are happy & healthy.

Why board your horse at Split-Ridge? Let me explain what a great location this is!

We have 3 miles of marked private trails on the farm, and many additional miles of horse trails in the Clark State Forest right by our property - we have direct access to the State Trails from our property!  The trails wind through the hills of Scott, Washington and Clark counties - beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons, babbling creeks, gorgeous lakes, wildlife and lovely ridge top views! The Henryville Horse Camp is just a couple hours' ride and you can even reach the lovely Deam Lake Area if you're in for some serious riding (it's about 17 miles one way on the trail)! SEE THE HORSE TRAIL MAP BELOW!!

Neighboring Equine Facilities:  There is a roping/reining facility just down the street and the Pekin Saddle Club is close by as well!  Also a quick trailer ride to 6 trail head parking lots and 30 minutes to trailer to Deam Lake State Park.

An equine vet (Southern Indiana Equine) is located just 15 miles from from our farm for your vetting needs. If you do not have a farrier we can make a recommendation.  We even have a friendly professional equine photographer if you are interested in having some great pictures made of you & your horse.  Boarders are welcome to get in on any farm calls when we have a vet, dentist, farrier, chiropractor or other horse service out.   Annual vaccinations and regular worming are required for boarded horses.

2026 Monthly Boarding Rate:

$290 per horse

We have an opening coming available in Spring 2026. Please visit us and if you like our farm, get your name on our waiting list!
