2023 Chocolate Filly

Born 3/13/23
Sire: DJ's Split Ridge Tungsten
Dam: Split Ridge Harvest

Gorgeous chocolate filly out of my favorite mare and by Tungsten.  Pictures here are at less than a week old - she's going to be an eye catcher for sure, and will have a fabulous gait! Super pleased with this cross - this filly is a full sister to our yearling, Yellowstone, who I kept for myself!  Last chance for a while to get a Harvest/Tungsten baby as I am not breeding this mare back - I want her back as my riding and camping partner!

Her training is started already - you can find tons of pictures and videos of her on our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SplitRidgeRockies/

Available at weaning and can be held with a deposit.

 Split Ridge Kioti

Split Ridge Kioti is a chocolate 2020 filly.  She is out of a Sam's Sooner Warning mare and by our Tungsten.  Super sweet and super beautiful.  Well built, pretty little feminine face, her daddy's hooked ears - we are very happy with Tungsten's foals! This one needs to be in the show ring.

$7000 UPDATE MAY 2022- WE HAVE DECIDED TO HOLD ONTO THIS ONE, THESE TUNGSTEN BABIES ARE SO NICE I WANT THEM FOR MYSELF!!!  I MAY CONSIDER THE RIGHT OFFER, BUT IT WILL TAKE MUCH MORE THAN THE $7000 I HAD HER LISTED FOR AS A YEARLING TO GET HER FROM ME NOW.

Here's something you don't see available for sale every day!! A direct daughter of Nick - one of his best!

Nickolette is a fine riding mare, nicely gaited and moves out with plenty of energy.  If you are wanting to mosey, you put her behind a slower horse, but she's happy to lead the pack at a good clip all day long.  She is an outstanding broodmare - Just look this gal up in the RMHA database and take a peek at the offspring she has produced.  Some of the most gorgeous show horses to be found!  We are keeping her current filly for our breeding program.  She will be available when her foal is weaned at the end of October.  Priced at only $4k, which is a bargain for this fabulous mare, but taking into consideration her age. If she is still with us in the spring of 2022 - she will be bred to Tungsten.

(Indy)

Picture
 Sire: Stormy's Blue Knight
Dam: Apache's Golden Velvet
DOB:  03/17/03
RMHA#: 2003010481

17 year old mare, 14.2 hh.  Registered RMHA & KMSHA. Has been a broodmare, but this year tore her cervix during foaling so will no longer be able to carry a pregnancy. She has mild Cushings and her levels are kept perfect being kept on a plain grass pasture and she gets a half Prascend pill per day.  Since she can't be a broodmare she now needs  a job as a trail or show horse. Has some go to her, not a beginners horse. Great on the trail and across obstacles. Rides in a snaffle or hackamore. Drop dead gorgeous - gets compliments wherever we take her!

Video below with Blondie.

SOLD TO OREGON!!!
Highland's Flapper Girl    "Blondie"

Sire: RSR Sam's Sooner Warning
Dam: Fairwind's Bacardi Breeze
DOB: 04/10/10
RMHA#: 2010043302

We are reducing our herd and offering this gem for sale!  What a cross - a Storm Warning stallion x a Choco Dock mare!  Blondie is absolutely gorgeous, 15 hh, no white markings.  Her breeder meant to make her a show horse - and she had a short stint through the ring and then we made her a trail horse!  This mare has hundreds of trail miles on her!  Her color is EeZZ. She had her first foal in 2020, a perfect filly (and is an excellent mother!) and is confirmed in foal to our Tungsten.  Foal will be chocolate or silver grulla.  Great mare, great addition to any breeding program and a 2 for one price with a foal due  in March 2021. Video of Blondie and Indy below.

Price: $8000.

Beautiful black broodmare.  She has a few trail miles on her, but has been used primarily as a broodmare so would consider her green broke, but would not hesitate to jump on her any time.  Great mother,  easy going mare who makes great babies (we are keeping a couple of her offspring in our breeding program)  High % Tobe in this girl.  Currently in foal to grulla stallion Tungsten for an April, 2020 foal.

Rides out alone, is good with front/middle/or back.  Is not overly fast, when in the back tends to fall behind the group.  14.2 hands - so is not going to be a tall guy.
