Conveniently located to both southern Indiana and northern Kentucky and surrounded by many miles of horse trails in the Clark State Forest - Our farm would be a great location for a horse trainer and/or riding instructor to base their training business from!
Split-Ridge is open to partnering with a horse trainer and a riding instrucor who is seeking a facility from which to work. This is an opportunity for a business partnership, not employment. Trainer/Instructor must be able to build his/her own client base and we will assist with marketing. Trainer will earn their training fee and the farm will earn a negotiated amount for boarding/use of facility. Riding instructor will determine their own lesson pricing and farm will receive a flat usage fee.
Person(s) must be honest and trustworthy, practice good horsemanship, take good care of and be respectful of all farm resources that are utilized and deliver great results with happy clients. There will be an interview process, must be willing to sign written agreement and must be willing to be photographed/videoed for advertising purposes.

While we would prefer to work with an experienced trainer with their own established program, we may be willing to work with an aspiring young person(s) who wants to spend time with horses, learn about horse training and willing to learn about the methods we use with our own horses.

- Small man-made obstacle course and numerous natural obstacles

- Equine vet within 15 miles and farrier recommendation if needed
- Opportunity to utilize our horses for riding lessons
- Trainer page on our website, advertising on our social media and other marketing opportunities.
- Opportunities for various events such as clinics, hosting rides, "fun shows", etc.
